"Wendy came (to talk to us) in April 2013 and we were all so impressed by her knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication to her cause. We learnt a great deal about acupuncture that night and some of our members were so confident in Wendy's ability that they have become her patients and she has been successful in helping them with many of their symptoms. I would have no hesitation to go to her myself if the need arose as she installs a quiet confidence which is very reassuring."

"On the recommendation of my breast care nurse I decided to try acupuncture...  After the first treatment my hot flushes calmed down immediately. I couldn’t believe it was possible to achieve such significant change in my symptoms so quickly. Over a period of 6 sessions my aches and pains diminished and my hot flushes are now just a minor inconvenience. Each session targets my specific needs and builds on the progress I have made to date. Wendy has proved to be caring and supportive. She takes time to assess my issues and progress at each session and then plans appropriate treatment. I am very happy to recommend her".

Acupuncture and Breast Cancer Care

11-02-2014

Following my well-received presentation to the members of Solihull Cancer Support Group in April last year, I am delighted to have been invited to speak to the Bosom Friends Breast Cancer Support Group (based at Alexandra Hospital, Redditch) on February 18th 2014. A client who has been extremely happy with the outcome of her first few acupuncture sessions for hot flushes and joint pain associated with breast cancer medication has been doing a great job of spreading the word! There is a mounting body of research demonstrating the benefits of acupuncture in breast cancer care. This is the most recent to appear in the news:
